Beryl and Peter collaborated with Dr. Michelle Smith, a Hawke’s Bay historian, with whom they had worked for 10 years, to bring this book and Costar Boys’ books to life.

Based in the upper North Island, Beryl and Peter received samples of various binding options, paper types, and previous publications from us. This allowed them to confidently select the materials that would create the perfect look and feel for their project.
